Most birth photographers have a strong connection to childbirth before they ever start taking photos, and I'm no different.
My journey began as a birth doula, where I learned how to support families, understand birth dynamics, and recognize the most meaningful moments during childbirth.
Now, I’m bringing that experience into your delivery room, this time with a camera. I know exactly when to capture those powerful, intimate moments, creating a beautiful visual story of your birth experience.

I am a Latvian woman who, after marrying a Polish man, learned Polish - a skill that has become invaluable in my work within Iceland’s birth industry, as many of my clients are Polish speaking women.
I'm very proud that, beyond my own love story, my knowledge and skills are genuinely helpful during such a delicate and intimate time in the lives of many women.

From the very first birth I attended, I couldn't resist snapping a few photos with my cellphone. It was amazing to see how much those simple pictures meant to the families—they were like little time capsules of pure joy and emotion. That's when a lightbulb went off in my head: why not turn this into something more?
I realized I could offer birth photography as part of my services, capturing all those raw, beautiful moments for families to treasure forever. Imagine giving them not just memories, but a whole gallery of love and life, from the first cry to the first cuddle.
